Burgundy

A color for the seasons that I absolutely love!! For a while, I thought it was just too dark for my complexion, and then on a trip to Seattle, I came across this pair of burgundy  Steve Madden pumps that I couldn’t resist bringing home with me!

Despite the dollar, the price was right and the shoe fit like a glove!  My long-standing reservations with the color burgundy were no more! I love the richness of the color and on other people, I have always thought that it looks fantastic. After the shoes came  a pair of pants, and then some shorts, a dress and let me not forget the lipstick. I went crazy for burgundy, and boy did it love me back!

Adding this color to my closet was such a great idea and now I can’t stop! While the color is mostly associated with the fall-winter seasons, in my closet, it’s one of those colors that has made an appearance during the spring and summer months.  It’s bold and it packs the right punch to any outfit. It goes with most colors and it is very flattering, so if you haven’t tried it, do it! You won’t regret it.
